Caving in Retezatul Mic

In the Retezat Mountains caves are located in the South-Eastern part of the mountain range, in the Retezatul Mic, which is formed in limestone. The majority of the caves are situated at high altitude. During a 5-day caving camp we have visited a few pits and caves from Scocului Mare Gorges and Scorotei Gorges.
